2018 has been an eventful year for +24 Marketing. Our team has expanded, we unveiled multiple exciting new projects, we’ve forged relationships with new clients and are even moving premises! To celebrate the end of 2018 and bring in 2019 on a high note, we’ve rounded up some of the best +24 moments of this year.
100th Episode of Friday Fizz
We delivered the 100th episode of Friday Fizz with style, visiting our friends at Batch Brew for a special gin tasting session.
Burnley FC in the Community Charity Dinner
2018’s instalment of the annual BFCitC Charity Dinner saw over £32,000 in total raised by attendee through ticket sales, a raffle, auction and more.
We were extremely proud to be headline sponsors of lovelocalexpo, where we covered visitors, exhibitors and Bertie Bee alike in our bright blue +24 Marketing stickers!
In May the +24 team headed to Manchester to try our collective hand at Go-Karting. The outing was just one of many team-building events undertaken throughout the year.

The Team Expands
July saw the +24 team growing, with the arrival of Head of Creative, Rik, and Cheif Education Officer, Ben.
This year +24 Marketing’s MD, Dave Walker and +24 director Jo got married!
Fellow lovelocalexpo exhibitor Ginception officially launched their business in August of this year. They marked the milestone with an incredible launch night event hosted at Burnley’s Illuminati, which we were fortunate enough to be invited to.
Elly Takes On Networking
Account Executive Elly over the course of 2018 has become a regular face at multiple networking events around East Lancashire, so be on the lookout for her at the next BNI Vista or 4N event.
Burnley Colour Dash
After the success of Burnley Colour Dash 2017, +24 resumed our place at the blue paint station to help mark the most colour day of the year all while raising money for the fantastic Pendleside Hospice.

Project Digital Bootcamp
The Project Digital bootcamp put our digital apprentices through their paces and equipped them with the baseline communication and business skills they need to thrive in the workplace.
Social Sam Dave and Jo all braved the cold weather and slept outside with other local business leaders in order to raise money for Burney FC in the Community, Jane’s Place and Emmaus Burnley. Overall the event raised around the £28k mark.

The Bondholder Breakfast event was an opportunity not only for attendees to see the building since its acquisition by The Landmark, but also hear about the future of Burnley, its digital sector and business growth, and The Landmark’s role in that bright future.
Pendleside Corporate Challenge Awards 2018
This year’s Pendlesie Corporate Challenge Awards smashed last year’s total raised of £97,016.66, pulling in £157k from the combined fundraising efforts of over 40 local businesses.
